Commercial Umbrella Policies
Umbrella liability insurance for businesses, also known as excess liability insurance, provides additional protection when your business exceeds insurance limits on an underlying policy. For a single premium, umbrella liability policies add a layer of protection to other policies that you might hold, including general liability, employer's liability, and hired and non-owned auto liability policies.
Important Note: Umbrella liability insurance does not extend coverage on errors and ommissions professional liability policies.
How much coverage do you need? A number of factors come into play in determining the appropriate umbrella coverage such as: the type of business you own, the coverages your business already has in place, as well as the assets of the business. Your agent will assist you in determining these factors.
